Bio
Dana Wilson has BSc in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary and is a certified Biofield Tuning practitioner, working with tuning forks as a unique sound therapy. The forks act as large acupuncture needles, using vibration on the body as well as in the interacting fields of energy surrounding the body. Biofield Tuning combs through the current, entraining it to a more balanced harmony.

She is a Reiki Master practitioner - using the Japanese method of relaxation and stress reduction together with tuning forks to promote healing. She is also versed in Swedish massage, Mayan abdominal massage and Bach Flower Essences.

Dana has completed a Pachakuti Mesa apprenticeship in a ~5000-year-old cross-cultural Shamanic tradition designed to support a return to equanimity in relationships with the Earth and each other. This complements a lifestyle of Permaculture Design and off-grid homesteading.

Through her apprenticeship, she has been initiated into a reverential practice called a despacho, in which participants create a beautiful and balanced mandala from natural items like flowers and seeds. The despacho is an offering of gratitude and ayni (reciprocity) to the Earth and is great for setting group ceremonial intentions as well as individual prayer. When intentionally prepared and offered with love, a despacho creates a resonant space and can help restore balance and harmony to one’s life.
